A block tower (in case you don’t have one, here are some alternatives). A standard deck of cards without jokers. The Empire won't make it easy for you, they have better weapons, better ships and it's a whole army against you. You will give characteristics to yourself, to the ship you live in, to the crew that works on it and to each of the four Solar Systems that you need to cross to arrive to a place where all the information you've gather is put to good use.įind the 4 long-range relays, travel around the space, keep record of it, survive. It will be hard and it will only ever get harder. Your goal is to navigate through the four solar systems ahead of you in order to deliver the information to a safe haven.
FTL is roguelike with randomly generated events like classic dungeon sims. Within your databanks is stored the information needed to sabotage and disable a weapon of mass destruction controlled by the Empire. Hostile rebels are chasing you, so the time for each run is limited. You’re the onboard AI of a Rebellion ship that has seen better days. In this game you will take on the role of an AI keeping records of everything that happens to their ship and to their crew as trying to reach the Rebellion Settlement, where you will finally be safe.
